Grey Lynn is a popular central Auckland suburb littered with historic Villa and Bungalow dwellings on relatively small sites. The attraction to the residence is the proximity to central city work, cafes, eateries, fine dining and entertainment. Our clients purchased the property in a very run down state, and decided to renovate the house before moving in. The brief was to inject character back into the villa while bringing it into the 21st century. An extension to the back of the house has doubled the size of the house with the bedrooms occupying the existing villa space, and the new extension provides a large open and light filled living area well suited to relaxing and entertaining when required.
